About Ben

A Representative for The People

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and why I am running for office. I do not consider myself a politician but a servant. I was honored to serve my country and represent Arkansas for 23 years in the military and it would be a great honor to serve the citizens of District 89.

I was raised in Amity, Arkansas. At 17, I left and joined the military where I served 23 years as an US Army Ranger and with other Special Operations Units. During my time in the military I deployed to combat numerous times where I was awarded several valorous awards to include two Purple Hearts for being wounded in combat. I retired in 2020 after 23 years active duty service. I currently work managing several multi-million dollar construction projects throughout Arkansas.

My wife Amanda and I have 3 children who attend school at Centerpoint Schools. We are active members and serve with our church family at FBC Dierks. I am a history major/buff; I love to visit historical sites. I enjoy bass fishing and occasionally you will find me fishing a tournament on one of our nearby lakes. I also love deer hunting and watching my kids play sports. Lastly but certainly not least, I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I am not perfect, just a sinner saved by grace.

I love our great state and am proud to be a Arkansan. If you elect me as your State Representative, I will be active throughout our communities (not just during election year) and listen to your concerns. I will be accesible. I will carry your voice to Little Rock and fight for our schools, our jobs, and to improve the lives of hard working Arkansans throughout District 89. I know what it means to serve; I'm asking for your vote and for a chance to serve the people of District 89. I look forward to meeting you out on the campaign trail!
